Abstract:
A novel screw-fastening assembly having anti-loosening capabilities includes a first and a second screw elements 11,12 adapted to be screw-fastened; the element 12 includes a recess R, the recess being open toward the element 11; and the element 11 includes an protrusion P, the protrusion being introduced into the recess R in a fastened state. The recess R has an inner peripheral surface formed in a cylindrical shape that is straight along the axial direction. The protrusion P is shaped as a circular column or cylinder having a maximum-diameter portion at one location along the axial direction. The protrusion P and the recess R are eccentric relative to each other such that the maximum-diameter portion of the protrusion and the inner peripheral surface of the recess are in pressure contact only along part of their circumference in the fastened state. The maximum-diameter portion is spaced apart from the base end of the protrusion P by a predetermined distance so as to allow the protrusion to move forward and backward along the axial direction relative to the recess R with the maximum-diameter portion being in pressure contact with the inner peripheral surface of the recess R only along part of their circumference.
