Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce setup work when form-rolling by suppressing the generation of a pitch deviation of a groove formed by a plurality of form-rolling dies.SOLUTION: A first form-rolling die 11 is provided so as to be regulated in movement in its axial direction, and on the other hand, a second form-rolling die 12 is provided so as to be allowed to move in the axial direction within a fixed range. Therefore, the first form-rolling die 11 starts the machining of a screw groove 19a to a work 19 before the second form-rolling die 12. The second form-rolling die 12 keeps the work 19 in a state pressurizing in a diametrical direction, and in that state, crests 12a of the second form-rolling die 12 performs the machining of the screw groove to the work 19 copying after the screw groove 19a formed by the first form-rolling die 11.
