Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw grinding device capable of highly accurate and highly efficient screw grinding processing.SOLUTION: A through-feed centerless screw grinding device comprises a grinding grindstone 2 for forming a plurality of ring-shaped projection strips 2a at the same interval as a pitch of a spiral screw 4 on an outer peripheral surface, a sending-out roller 7 for sending the spiral screw to a grinding area 3 between the grinding grindstone and an adjusting grindstone 1 and a guide member 9 positioned on a virtual spiral of extending a spiral groove of the spiral screw when allowing the spiral groove 8 of the spiral screw to abut on the ring-shaped projection strip of the grinding grindstone between a sending-out member and the grinding grindstone and having a curved surface shape of copying after the spiral groove, and while sending the spiral screw to a grinding area by the sending-out roller, a guide member contacts with the spiral groove of the spiral screw, so that its spiral groove is ground by the ring-shaped projection strip of the grinding grindstone while controlling the spiral screw to be constant in proceeding to a rotation angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
