SCREW JOINT PILE STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To screw-threadedly engage an upper pile with a lower pile by means of a simple jig by a method wherein a thread of the same pitch as a thread of the lower pile is provided at the upper end of the upper pile, and a hanger is provided around a screw joint jig and a thread adapted to be threadedly engaged with the thread provided at the upper end of the upper pile is provided at the lower end of the upper pile.
CONSTITUTION: For screw-threadedly engaging an upper pile 3 with a lower pile 1 using a tower 21, an external thread 8 of a screw joint jig 7 is threaded into an internal thread 5 of the pile 3 beforehand so as to be joined. And the jig 7 is attached to a hanger jig 20 through a hanger 9 on the ground and a motor-operated winch 22 is actuated to lift the pile 3 joined integral to the jig 7 and an external thread 4 is brought close to an internal thread 2 of the lower pile 1 and the winch 22 is stopped and the jig 7 is fixed to the tower 21 so as not to be rotated. And the pile 3 is rotated to thread the thread 4 into the thread 2 of the pile 1, whereby the pile 3 is drawn out from the jig 7 as the pile 3 rotates. Further the winch 22 is driven a little to lift the jig 7 connected, the pile 3, and the pile 1 altogether, and a hanger 6a is removed and the pile 1 and the pile 3 joined thereto are inserted into a hole formed in the ground.
