To provide a screw for a molding machine which has good performance such as abrasion resistance.

A screw 13 for a molding machine sends out a molding material in a cylinder and a part 32 of one material which constitutes a screw surface indicated by black and a part 33 of another material which constitutes the screw surface indicated by white are arranged in a regular pattern on at least one part of the screw surface.
