Title:
SCREW NAIL RETAINING BELT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0960628
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a nail retaining belt which has little resistance against nail driving even if screw nails are retained strongly, by providing piercingly holes at fixed intervals in the longitudinal direction of a paper belt like body, forming plural slits radically with each hole as a center, making the diameter of each hole smaller than that of a screw nail shaft, and forming plural slits to a part that is equivalent to each screw nail shaft diameter.

Holes 2 are piercingly provided at regular intervals along the longitudinal direction of a beltlike body 1, and the diameter of each hole 2 is formed smaller than that of the shaft 11a of each screw nail 11, and plural slits 3 are formed radically with each hole 2 as a center and to a part that is equivalent to the approximate axis diameter of each screw nail 11. When each screw nail 11 is inserted into each hole 2 of the beltlike body 1, parts divided by plural slits are pushed down and become lip pieces 1a, as the hole diameter of each hole 2 is smaller than the shaft diameter of each screw nail 11, and the lip pieces 1a retain strongly the screw nails 11 by push-pressing the screw nails 11 from the peripheries of the holes 2. At the time of nail driving, the screw nails 11 are easily stamped out and resistance is little. As the beltlike body 1 is made of paper, disposal after use is easy.
