Abstract:
To provide a screw pipe joint capable of securing hermeticity in a clearance part between a male screw and a female screw at ends of a metal pipe.
An elastic packing 3 is compressed in the clearance part between an end face 7' of a screw opening 4 of a joint main body 1 and the male screw 6 of the pipe end 5a by fitting a pressing ring 2 to the male screw 6. The clearance part between the male screw 6 and the female screw 7 is effectively sealed to keep hermeticity of the clearance part.
