In the screw press filtration apparatus which filters a solid component in treated water by means of a screw 5 and separates filtrate and dewatered cake, a disk 18 provided with an opening 18a is rotatably disposed on a solid component discharging port 13 of the screw 5 and a motor 25 that rotatively drives the disk 18 and a motor 10 that rotates the screw 5 are independently disposed. By rotating the disk 18 with a drive different from the rotation of the screw 5, the discharge amount of the dewatering cake is adjusted and, also the moisture content can be adjusted. Further, by performing the shearing of the dewatered cake by rotation of the opening 18a, the dewatered cake can be divided.
