Abstract:
To provide a screw press capable of rotating a first screw and a second screw at the most suitable speed.SOLUTION: A screw press 110 comprises: a filter cylinder 1 into which suspension is charged; a first screw 3 and a second screw 4 which are arranged in the filter cylinder 1 and transfer the suspension in a predetermined transfer direction D; a first rotation mechanism 7 which rotates the first screw 3; a second rotation mechanism 20 which rotates the second screw 4 independently of the first screw 3; and an operation control unit 6 which issues commands to the first rotation mechanism 7 and the second rotation mechanism 20 so as to control rotation speed of the first screw 3 and rotation speed of the second screw 4. The operation control unit 6 is configured to determine the rotation speed of the first screw 3 and the rotation speed of the second screw 4 on the basis of concentration of the suspension before being charged into the filter cylinder 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
