PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize accuracy improvement and cost reduction of a screw shaft including a rolled screw shaft part and a bearing support part, etc. adjacent to the rolled screw shaft part.SOLUTION: A screw shaft 21 comprises: a rolled screw shaft part 21b formed by rolling; and a pressed shaft part 21d formed by pressing a portion of the rolled screw shaft part 21b. A method of manufacturing the screw shaft 21 comprises: a rolling step of forming the rolled screw shaft part 21b by rolling a rod throughout its entire length; and a pressing step of forming the pressed shaft part 21d by pressing the portion of the rolled screw shaft part 21b.
