Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw shaft polishing device and a screw shaft polishing method, which enable automatization of such adjusting operations that an angle of a polishing tool is adjusted in accordance with an angle of a helical groove of a screw shaft.SOLUTION: A screw shaft polishing device includes: polishing means in which a polishing tool is rotatably installed to polish a surface of a screw shaft; regulating wheel means that is arranged in the state of facing the polishing means and in which a regulating wheel is rotatably installed; detection means for detecting the screw shaft carried in between the polishing tool and the regulating wheel; and control means for controlling an angle of the polishing tool on the basis of a detection signal from the detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
