Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw thread correction unit being high in correction ability of a screw thread, and capable of easily correcting the screw thread without requiring technical skill.SOLUTION: A screw thread correction unit 1 corrects a screw thread of a damaged screw, and comprises a plurality of correction blades 20 arranged along the advancing direction by rotation of a corrected screw, and the respective correction blades 20 comprise a screw thread correction blade 8 meshing between the screw threads of the corrected screw and abutting means 3 for sandwiching the corrected screw between the screw thread correction blade 8 and itself by abutting on the corrected screw, and an end surface of the respective correction blades 20 formed in the orthogonal direction to the arrangement direction of the plurality of correction blades 20, is formed with an inclined plane 21 slantingly curved to the inside in the thickness direction of the screw thread correction blade 8, and is formed with the inclined plane 21 curved in both longitudinal directions of an edge 30 of the respective correction blades 20 arranged so as to contact with a thread bottom of the screw thread of the corrected screw.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
