Abstract:

To perform a weight saving and a critical design, etc., by controlling the dispersion of an axial force when a screw is tightened.

This screw tightening method tightens and loosens when the screw is tightened. The axial force is calculated based on tightening and loosening torque then. The screw is retightened until a target torque is obtained as monitoring the axial force. The axial force is preferably calculated by the following expression: Fs=π/P×(Tf-Tl), Fs: An axial force, P: A screw pitch, Tf: A tightening torque, Tl: A loosening torque.
