Abstract:
To provide a screw tightening tool in which an entire length a housing is shortened even if the tool comprises a push drive mode.SOLUTION: A screwdriver 1 has: a motor 11; a clutch cam 47 which is rotated by drive of the motor 11; a second spindle 49 which is so located as to face the front of the clutch cam 47 in a direction of a rotation axis; a bit holding hole 89 which is connected to a front part of the second spindle 49, and moves back and forth integrally with the second spindle 49; a rod 61 which is located in the rear of the bit holding hole 89, and moves backward by retreat of the bit holding hole 89; a wheel 62 which converts backward movement of the rod 61 into rotational movement around an axis in a cross direction; and a sensor substrate 63 which detects rotational movement of the wheel 62. By retreat of the bit holding hole 89, rotation of the clutch cam 47 can be transmitted to the second spindle 49. After the sensor substrate 63 detects rotation of the wheel 62, the motor 11 is rotated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
