Abstract:
To provide a screw which can be easily driven into and easily pulled out of lumber of any quality.
The screw 1 is easily driven into hard lumber by forming grooves 8 on threads 7 to reduce frictional resistance to a fixed material 12 in the grooves 8 in the screw 1. By rotating a shaft part 2 with a head part 5, the threads 7 catch parts 12b of the fixed material 12 located in the grooves 8, and a driving force in a pull-out direction acts on sloping surfaces 7b on the tip sides of the threads 7 to move the whole of the shaft part 2 in the pull-out direction. Thus, the screw 1 is easily pulled out of even soft lumber.
