To achieve easy guide of the blade of a flathead screw driver into a slot in the head of a slotted-head screw while, when guiding the same, achieving alignment of the rotation axis of the blade of the flathead screw driver with the rotation axis of the slotted-head screw.

The screw 1 has a shank 2, and the head 10 in which the linear shaped slot 11 for insertion of a tool is formed in one end face 10a and the shank 2 extends from the other end face 10b. The slot 11 has a V-shaped cross section which is widely opened at a position of the one end face 10a and becomes narrow in width according as advancing toward the other end face 10b. A positioning part 12 is formed in a bottom 11c of the slot 11 for aligning the central axis of the head 10 with the rotation center axis of the tool when the tool is operated.
