Abstract:
The motor (3) of the screwdriver (1) has a motor shaft (4). An output shaft (6) is provided with a driver bit (15) and movable in an axial direction thereof. A first gear (17) is configured to rotate around a rotary center to transmit rotations of the motor shaft. A second gear (19) has inner teeth. A carrier (20) includes planetary gears (21) each of which is disposed inside the second gear to mesh with the inner teeth. A clutch mechanism (22) is configured to connect or disconnect the carrier and the output shaft in accordance with the movement of the output shaft. The rotations of the first gear is transmitted to the carrier by way of the planetary gears.
