Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screwed type connector of simple constitution obtained by making new, useful improvement on a conventional one.
SOLUTION: This screwed type connector for connecting two parts to each other comprises a bolt member 1 having an axis, a thread portion 2 provided with a thread ridge, and another portion 3 provided with a polygonal peripheral edge (a spline), a friction washer 5 engaged with the polygonal peripheral edge part of the bolt member 1 and having a first face area 6 abutting on one face area 7 of the part, and a second face area 11 on the opposite side; and a sleeve 9 engaged with the thread ridge of the thread portion 2 of the bolt member 1 and having a face area 10 abutting on the second face area 11 of the friction washer 5. When specified force is applied in one direction to the bolt member 1, specified rotational force is applied in a direction opposed to the sleeve 9. As a result, only the sleeve 9 is rotated, while the bolt member 1 is extended or loosened.
