Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve screwing while making the head of an externally threaded part inconspicuous, without providing a recess part for storing the head of the externally threaded part in advance, and to obtain the required strength.
SOLUTION: This screwing device for a fitting includes an externally threaded part 3, a fitting member 1 provided with a through hole 11 through which the externally threaded part 3 is passed, and a back plate 2 provided with an internally threaded part 21 with which the externally threaded part 3 is engaged, the screwing device screwing the back plate 2 to the fitting member 1. In this case, the externally threaded part 3 has a conical head seat surface 31a harder than the fitting member 1, and the through hole 11 has a minor diameter L' smaller than the head diameter L of the externally threaded pat 3, with the head 31 of the externally threaded part 31 driven into the through hole 11 by an axial force produced when the externally threaded part 3 is engaged with the internally threaded part 21.
