To prevent grease at a bearing part from leaking by preventing a contact type seal member in contact with a swing shaft from being curled up during the operation of a scroll compressor.
In this scroll compressor, a drive shaft 19 supported on a part of a housing and a swing shaft 19a installed eccentrically to the drive shaft 19 are installed in the housing, a swing scroll 12 held on the bearing part of the swing shaft 19a is meshed with a fixed scroll 11 fixed to the housing, and a contact type seal member preventing oil leakage is fitted to the bearing part of the swing shaft 19a. The peripheral surface of the swing shaft 19a facing a lip seal 30 as the contact seal member is formed of a roughly curved surface in which a distance between the axis of the swing shaft 19a and the peripheral surface thereof is set approximately longest in a direction passing the axis of the swing shaft 19a with reference to the axis of the drive shaft 19.
