To provide a scroll compressor improving reliability by providing a check valve in an outlet of a drain oil passage, storing drain oil lubricating a sliding part in stopping the compressor, feeding oil from the drain oil passage to a compression chamber in restarting, compensating oil feed lag from an oil pump, and preventing a scroll wrap from galling.

This scroll compressor is provided with the oil pump feeding lubricating oil from an oil sump to the sliding part via an oil feed passage; also provided with the oil drain passage 18 communicating a crank chamber 17 to a motor chamber housing a motor, and the oil feed passage 19 having oil feed means branched from the oil drain passage 18 and communicating the oil drain passage 18 to the compression chamber 6, respectively, in its main frame 10; feeds part of the lubricating oil lubricating the sliding part to the compression chamber; and returns the excessive lubricating oil to the oil sump. The compressor is also provided with the check valve opening/closing an outlet 18a in the motor chamber side or a drain oil outlet passage 18b adjacent to the motor chamber side outlet of the drain passage 18.
