To provide a scroll compressor capable of compatibly realizing the high efficiency and reliability by reducing over-compression and simultaneously mitigating liquid compression for most of the operational compression ratios.
A bypass hole 25 which is communicated with a discharge port 12 through a second compression chamber 11b in a discharge stroke in which the second compression chamber 11b starts to open in the discharge port 12, and shares a discharge chamber 24 on the opposite side across an end plate 6a of a fixed scroll lap 6b with the discharge port 12, and the compression ratio at the bypass hole 25 is set to be approximately ≤ 4. In addition, a means to be communicated with the discharge port 12 in an early stage is provided to reduce over-compression.
