Abstract:
To provide a scroll compressor which can perform high-efficiency operation in a wide range of operating condition, without causing leakage of refrigerant or performance deterioration due to reduction in volumetric efficiency.
An annular oil supply groove 33 the center of which is eccentric with the center of revolution of a revolving scroll 15, is provided on a sliding surface of an end plate of a fixed scroll 14 with respect to the revolving scroll 15. Accordingly, a seal length is secured by making the annular oil supply groove eccentric in the direction of securing the seal length between the inner peripheral side of the annular oil supply groove and a compression chamber, to thereby reduce the leakage of the refrigerant.
