The scroll compressor 1 including a delivery chamber 14 in one side surface 12a of a movable scroll 12 and including a mechanical chamber 17 provided with a revolution drive apparatus 18 in another side surface 12b side of the movable scroll 12 and including a support block 21 facing another side surface 12b of the movable scroll 12 with having the damping gap 22 in the mechanical chamber 17, has a structure having delivery refrigerant introducing passage 30 introducing refrigerant in the delivery chamber 14 to the mechanical chamber 17 and a damping refrigerant introducing passage 23 introducing part of refrigerant introduced to the mechanical chamber 17 to the damping gap 22. Consequently, refrigerant delivered from the delivery camber 14 is led to the mechanical chamber 17 and is led to the damping gap 22 from the mechanical chamber 17. Since pressure of refrigerant delivered from the delivery chamber 14 is controlled by a delivery valve, pressure fluctuation in the damping gap 22 can be kept very small.
