To provide a scroll compressor reduced in weight, capable of solving gas leak due to pressure deformation of a housing or a scroll member without enhancing the rigidity thereof by optimizing the structure of the housing and the arrangement structure of a seal member.
A scroll compression mechanism 23 is set within the housing 3 composed of a front housing 5 and a rear housing 7, and a fixed scroll member 25 thereof is fastened and fixed to the inner surface of the rear housing 7 by a first seal member 39 interposed between an end surface closer to the inner circumference from the outer circumference of an end plate 25A and the inner surface of the rear housing 7 through a first bolt 31 so as to define a discharge chamber 41 to which gas compressed by the scroll compression mechanism 23 is discharged on the inside of the first seal member 39. The first seal member 39 partitions the internal space of the housing 3 to the discharge chamber 41 and a suction chamber 43 formed by the space except the discharge chamber 41.
