To provide a scroll compressor capable of being easily machined while improving sealing performance with a simple configuration.
The scroll compressor, having a fixed scroll and a turning scroll each with a spiral wrap on an end plate and a frame with a main bearing rotatably supporting a spindle for turning the turning scroll inside a sealed vessel, comprises: a back pressure chamber on a back face of the end plate of the turning scroll; a sealing means for sealing the back pressure chamber and a space around the main bearing; a sealing means mounting section disposed on top of the frame to be opposite to an end face of that turning boss portion of the turning screen into which the spindle is inserted; and a seal supporting means for placing the sealing means at the sealing means mounting section. The seal supporting means is provided with a support section for supporting the sealing means and an elastic section for bringing the sealing means into contact with the back face of the turning end plate.
