Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor capable of improving compression performance by ensuring sealing by a chip seal while suppressing leakage amount.SOLUTION: A scroll compressor includes: a chip seal 22 contained in a seal groove 40 formed along a circumferential direction on each of a lap 21 of a fixed scroll and a lap of a turning scroll, and sealing a gap between the lap 21 and a counterpart end plate 300; and a spring 45 pressing the chip seal 22 against the counterpart end plate 300 from a back surface 22. The spring 45 is arranged only in an end portion 222 on an inner circumference of the chip seal 22.
