Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor which simplifies a structure, reduces size and weight, decreases assembling man-hour, saves a cost, by configuring a housing and a scroll compression mechanism for which four components seem indispensable, with three components.SOLUTION: A scroll compressor 1 is equipped with a housing 2, and a scroll compression mechanism 3 provided inside of the housing 2, and provided with a discharge cavity 25 discharging high-pressure gas compressed by the scroll compression mechanism 3 in the housing 2. The housing 2 is composed of a front housing 4, and a rear housing 5 blocking a rear end opening portion of the housing 2. A fixed scroll 14 is integrally molded on the rear housing 5 through a rib portion 24, and the discharge cavity 25 in which a discharge port 29 for discharging the high-pressure gas opens is provided around the rib portion 24. A discharge valve 31 for opening/closing the discharge port 29 is installed in the discharge cavity 25.
