Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor capable of reducing leakage and further improving compression efficiency.SOLUTION: A scroll compressor comprises: a fixed scroll; and an orbiting scroll. A lap 21 of the fixed scroll is engaged with a lap 31 of the orbiting scroll in a state in which the laps 21 and 31 face mutual end plates, respectively. An outer circumferential coating 27 abraded by contact with a tooth bottom of the end plate of the other scroll is provided on a tooth tip 24 of the lap 21 or 31 on an outer circumference of at least one of the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll, and a tip seal 22 is provided on the tooth tip 24 in a region R2 in which the outer circumferential coating 27 is not provided, between the tooth tip 24 and the tooth bottom in each of the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
