PURPOSE: To eliminate excessive load to be applied to a main bearing by supporting a crank shaft by a main bearing and a sub bearing provided on the end opposite to the main bearing across a rotor, and providing a first balance weight between the main shaft of the crank shaft and the rotor.
CONSTITUTION: A crank shaft 6 is supported at both ends by a bearing member 20 provided with a main bearing 19 for supporting a main shaft 17, and a rolling bearing 21 for supporting the end of the crank shaft 6 on the opposite side to the main bearing 1,7 across a rotor 5. A first balance weight 34 is provided between the main shaft 17 and the rotor 5 on the crank shaft 6, a second balance weight 35 is formed on the opposite side to a compressing mechanism 2 of the rotor 5, and the crank shaft 6 is balanced by the first and second balance weights 34, 35. By this structure, the action point in the axial direction of load of gaseous refrigerant and the action point of the main bearing 19 are adjacent to each other, and the action point in the axial direction of centrifugal force by a turning spiral vane member 13, to be applied to the crank shaft 6, and the action point of the first balance weight 34 are also adjacent to each other, and therefore, the moment to be applied to the main bearing 19 can be decreased.
