Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a scroll compressor wherein a seal part can be easily assemble to eliminate a leak of refrigerant gas in the seal part.
CONSTITUTION: A fixed scroll 2 and a swivel scroll, engaged with a fixed volute tooth 5 of the fixed scroll 2 to provide a swivel volute tooth of forming a compression chamber 9, are provided in a closed vessel. A high/low pressure separator 13 is provided to oppositely face a base plate 4 of the fixed scroll 2, to provide an inner side seal 15 in a fitting opposed part between both the fixed scroll 2 and the high/low pressure separator 13, and to provide an outer side seal 16 in a plane opposed part between the scroll and separator. In this way, by providing a single part of arranging the seal in the fitting opposed part, the seal can be easily mounted in a prescribed position, and a leak of refrigerant gas can be reduced. Accordingly, manufacture is facilitated to improve operation reliability and compression efficiency.
