Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor reliable and superior in durability of members provided in back of a moving scroll.
SOLUTION: This scroll compressor is provided with a flat plate ring body 5a keeping sliding contact with the moving scroll 2a at one end surface and keeping sliding contact with a housing at the other end surface, an oil dam ring 5d including a first projection formed on one end surface of the ring body and a second projection formed on the other end surface of the ring body and extending in a direction crossing an extending direction of the first projection at right angles, an oil dam coupling 5 composed of a first groove formed on an end plate of the moving scroll and slidably fitting on the first projection of the oil dam ring and a second groove formed on the housing and slidably fitting on the second projection of the oil dam ring. A through hole in a plate thickness direction is formed at a part where an end plate of a regularly moving scroll of the ring body keep sliding contact with the housing, a plate thickness direction through hole 5e formed at a center part of the end part of the moving scroll 2a communicates with the plate thickness direction through hole of the ring body.
