Title:
SCROLL COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01187387
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the extent of leakage in a magnetic fluid from a compression space as well as to make improvements in compressive performance by sticking the magnetic fluid to each lap part of both fixed and swirl scrolls, and sealing a clearance between these scrolls with this magnetic fluid. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil is siphoned into an oil guide 14 and a through hole 13 of a crankshaft 5, a part is fed to a sub-bearing 8b and a main stream to a thrust bearing 3 or the like, respectively, and then they are made to flow back to an oil sump 10 through a notch 18 of a stator 7b from an oil drain hole 12. Then, refrigerant gas in a sealed space with a fixed scroll 2a is compressed with the swirl of a movable scroll 2b constituting a compression mechanism 2. In this constitution, a magnetic fluid 23 sealed in the compression mechanism 2 is stuck to each of laps 2c, 2d of both these fixed and turning scrolls 2a, 2b. In this way, a clearance between these these scrolls 2a and 2b is sealed by the magnetic fluid 23, and a leakage of the refrigerant gas from the sealed space is reduced.
