PURPOSE: To provide a scroll compressor of low noise by disposing a check valve in a scroll compressor, eliminating a phenomenon of insufficient compression, and reducing impact noise to be generated in closing the check valve.
CONSTITUTION: A check valve 221 is fixed at one end thereof to a fixed scroll 11 so as to be positioned at the center in the longitudinal direction, thus opening or closing a discharge port 112 of compressed fluid formed in the vicinity of the center of the fixed scroll 11. A valve presser 222 is provided for restricting a valve opening height of the check valve 221. A valve seat of the fixed scroll 11 is formed into a curved shape in the vicinity of the end on a side opposite to the fixed end of the check valve 221.
