PURPOSE: To heighten reliability by improving a sealing property of lubricating oil between a thrust surface of an oscillating scroll and a thrust support surface of a frame and reducing discharge of the lubricating oil out of a compressor.
CONSTITUTION: It is constituted so that the maximum oscillating locus on the outside in the diametrical direction of an outer peripheral end of a thrust surface 11d of an oscillating scroll 11 does not exceed an outer peripheral end of a thrust support surface 15b of a frame 15. Consequently, contact width decrease between the thrust surface 11d and the thrust support surface 15b due to the thrust surface 11d covering a clearance groove 15f is eliminated, and a sealing property of lubricating oil is improved.
