PURPOSE: To reduce the necessary quantity of the lubricating oil to be collected in an oil reservoir part of the bottom part to the upper part of a cap of a scroll compressor by forming an oil reservoir part with restrictor in the lower part of a sealed container, and arranging a supporting tool in the upper part of the inner wall surface of the oil reservoir part, and fixing a cap for covering the lower end of a shaft by means of the supporting tool.

CONSTITUTION: A compressing unit 2 and an electric motor 3 are arranged inside of a sealed container 1, and the compressing unit 2 is formed of a spiral fixed scroll 4, a turning scroll 5 to be engaged with the fixed scroll 4 so as to form a compression chamber, an Oldham's ring 13 for preventing the rotation of the turning scroll 5, a shaft 11 for driving the turning scroll 5 for turning and formed with a lubricating oil feeding passage 11a passing through from the lower end to the upper end, and a bearing 7 for supporting a crankshaft 8 formed over the shaft 11. An oil reservoir part 1a with restrictor is formed in the lower part of the sealed container. A supporting tool 21a is arranged in the upper part of the inner wall surface of the oil reservoir part 1a, and a cap 20 for covering the lower end of the shaft 11 is fixed by the supporting tool 21a.
