PURPOSE: To contrive to simplify and miniaturize the mechanism by a structure wherein a rocking mechanism consists of a moving pin protruded from the underside of a rocking scroll, a fixed pin protruded from the top surface of a housing, and a guide member, which slidably supports both the pins at a predetermined interval between each other.
CONSTITUTION: The rocking mechanism consists of the moving pin 14 implanted on the underside of the bottom plate 2b of a rocking scroll 2, the fixed pin 16 implanted on the top surface of a housing 15, which is coupled with a fixed scroll 1 and at the same time supports a crankshaft 3 through a radial bearing 15a, and a guide member 17, into which the fixed pin 16 and the moving pin 14 are slidably inserted so as to move the moving pin 14 around the fixed pin 16. Due to the structure as mentioned above, an Oldham's coupling, which is employed in a conventional device and requests long machining time and yet is high in cost, becomes unnecessary and consequently the rocking mechanism is simplified in constitution and made smaller in size and yet facilitated in manufacture, resulting in enabling to lower the price and to improve the reliability.
