To provide a scroll fluid machine reducible in the number of parts and assembling man-hours while preventing a failure to put a seal.
A lap recessed groove 78 extending along a lap part 58 is formed at the tooth tip of the lap part 58, and an outermost peripheral recessed groove 79 is formed to surround the outside of the outermost peripheral part of a compression chamber recessed part 61, in axial alignment with the lap recessed groove 78. A communicating recessed groove 81 is formed to communicate the lap recessed groove 78 with the outermost peripheral recessed groove 79, and an integral seal member 84 coming in sliding contact with the tooth bottom face of an object scroll is fitted to the lap recessed groove 78, the outermost peripheral recessed groove 79 and the communicating recessed groove 81.
