PURPOSE: To minimize axial leakage area thus to reduce leakage loss of fluid, by providing a pressure applying chamber at counter-lap side of scroll in scroll fluid machine thereby preventing the flexure of scroll.
CONSTITUTION: The scroll fluid machine is equipped with swing scroll 2 and fixed scroll 1 constructed with mirror plates 20, 21 where laps 18, 19 formed with involute curve are standing at one sides facing each other, then said laps 18, 19 are gnawed each other to swing said swing scroll 2 in such a manner that they don't rotate themself in apparence to compress the fluid sucked through suction port 3 and exhaust through exhaust port 26. Here a board 23 is provided at the outside of mirror plate 21 while a space 24 is provided between fixed scroll 1, then outer fluid having proper pressure is led from the leading tube 25 into said space 24 to acieve desired purpose.
