PURPOSE: To reduce a bad influence given to a machine due to a dust, by forming a suction passage, such that a reservoir of large capacity is provided in the lowest position communicating with a compression element chamber inlet pat via a rising part, and separating comparatively heavy foreign matter in fluid to fall off in said reservoir.
CONSTITUTION: If this fluid machine is operated, fluid is allowed to flow down in a suction passage A, formed such that a reservoir B of large capacity is provided in the lowest position communicating with a compression element chamber inlet pat D via a rising part C, reaching the reservoir B to both decrease a flow speed and change the direction of flow by a bottom wall, and the fluid is inverted rising and flowing into a compression element chamber Z via a passage C in the compression element chamber inlet part D. Accordingly, the fluid, when it reaches the reservoir B, detaches, due to a decrease of a flow speed and collision with the bottom wall, a foreign material of comparatively heavy dust or the like, mixed in the fluid, to be accumulated standing in a bottom part. Further the fluid, when it changes a direction to the lateral direction, separates the foreign matter of light weight adhering to grease applied to the surface of a screen 110, and the machine, cleaning the fluid rising in the passage C, can prevent a bad influence given to the machine.
