PURPOSE: To dissolve inconvenience such as reverse rotation of a machine and noise accompanying it at stopping a scroll machine by a valve mechanism utilizing an existing machine construction.
CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve 98 or a mechanical valve in place of it for relieving fluid from a chamber 84 communicated to a fluid pocket of intermediate pressure between scroll blades 60, 72 to a suction pressure territory is provided. By removing this intermediate pressure, displacement of an existing floating seal mechanism is obtained, or alienation between both scrolls 58, 70 is obtained, or the other valve is opened, and hence the construction for opening a fluid leakage route from the discharge pressure territory to the suction pressure territory is obtained.
