Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a roll capable of solving the aforementioned technical problem by applying a quite novel process in which a roll is divided in a width direction.SOLUTION: The method for producing a roll is characterized by including the following steps 1 to 3. Step 1: a sheet forming step in which a plurality of reinforcing fiber yarns are made into a fabric and are oriented in at least one direction to obtain a reinforcing fiber yarn sheet precursor (hereinafter referred to as original fabric). Step 2-1: a take-up step in which the original fabric is taken up to a shaft body to form a roll of the original fabric. Step 3: a slit step in which a blade is inserted in the roll of the original fabric roll to divide the roll in a width direction into a plurality of rolls.SELECTED DRAWING: None
