Abstract:
To provide a scroll steam expansion system capable of obtaining sufficient seal effects by appropriately controlling the amount of water mixing in an expander upstream side by using a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A scroll steam expansion system 1 having a scroll expander 10 expanding high pressure steam HW sucked from piping L6 and discharging low pressure steam from piping L7 includes a heat exchanger 20 exchanging heat between the high pressure steam HW flowing in the piping and the low pressure steam LW flowing in the piping L7. Through the heat exchange, condensation water is generated in the high pressure steam HW. The scroll steam expansion system further includes: piping L4, L5 that is bypass piping bypassing the heat exchanger 20; and a flow regulating valve 30 regulating a flow rate of the high pressure steam HW flowing in the piping L4, L5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
