PURPOSE: To preclude a phenomenon of seizure at the time of the high-speed rotation of a vane by forming the outer periphery surface of a disc-shaped end plate provided with a scroll vane as a movable vane projecting out from its surface and making swing motion by a motor and the sliding-contact surface of the frame side part opposite to said surface into prescribed tapered surfaces.
CONSTITUTION: The captioned equipment is provided with a scroll type compression mechanism 103 which comprises a fixed element 111, in which a scroll vane 115 is mounted on the one side face of a disc-shaped end plate 113 such that the vane projects out from the surface, and a movable element 112 located opposite to said fixed element, and comprising a scroll vane 124 mounted on the one side face of a disc-shaped end plate 123 such that the vane projects out from the surface. Said mechanism 103 is placed in a closed case 101, and driven by a motor 104 which is located below the case. Hereupon, the end plate 123 is formed into a tapered surface 123a in such a manner that the external shape of its periphery surface becomes larger the more it approaches the fixed element 111 side, and the outer periphery surface of said end plate is formed with dimensions such that, at the time of being in swing motion, it can come into sliding contact with a tapered surface 142a within the internal surface of an annular wall 142 of a frame 102 which divides the inside of the closed case 101 into the upper and lower parts.
