In a scroll-type compressor 1, a chip seal 40 disposed between a wrap 21 and a mating-side end plate 300, is composed of an outer peripheral chip seal 41 disposed at an outer peripheral side with respect to a step portion 21C, a step chip seal 42 disposed on the step portion 21C, and an inner peripheral chip seal 43 disposed at an inner peripheral side with respect to the step portion 21C. The step chip seal 42 is disposed while continued to a tip portion T of an outer peripheral-side wrap 21B, a side face portion S of the step portion 21C opposed to a step wall 30C, and a tip portion T of the inner peripheral-side wrap 21A. A boundary Bd between the step chip seal 42 and the inner peripheral chip seal 43 is constantly positioned outside of a circular orbit R drawn by the step portion 21C in accompany with revolution of a scroll.
