Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the sealing property by a tip seal between the lap and end plate of a scroll type compressor.
CONSTITUTION: A space is formed between the end part of a tip seal 14 and the longitudinal end part of a tip seal groove 10, and no space is formed on the low pressure side. A through-hole 15 turned radially inward in contact with a tip seal bottom surface 14c is further provided in a tip seal groove bottom 10c near the end part 14a of the high pressure-side tip seal.
