Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a turning scroll from being applied with an excessive pressing force by arranging a thrust washer for restricting the movement in the axial direction of a shaft between a motor and the lower edge of a block for holding a fixed scroll.
CONSTITUTION: A motor 2 is arranged under a block 3 for holding a fixed scroll 4. A thrust washer 16 is arranged between the lower edge of the block 3 around a shaft 7 and a motor rotor, and the upward movement in the axial direction of the shaft 7 is restricted. Therefore, the breakage of the top edges of the laps 4a and 5a due to the upward shift of the shaft 7 and the application of an excessive pressing force onto a turning scroll 5 can be prevented.
