Abstract:
To provide a scroll type fluid machine capable of enhancing the compressing efficiency by optimizing the back pressure.
A seal member 30 to seal a high pressure chamber (back pressure chamber) HR is stored in either an upper bearing (stationary member) 5 or a revolving scroll 13 and equipped with a wider portion 32 positioned on the side with the upper bearing 5 and a sliding part 30 positioned on the side with the revolving scroll 13, and sliding part 31 has a slide surface on which the scroll 13 slides, and the wider portion 32 has an approximately channel-shaped section in which an opening is formed as directed toward the inside surface.
