To solve a problem in which a gap can be eliminated at an outside contact point A1 after thermal expansion but a gap is formed at a center part contact point A2 to cause leak of compressed refrigerant and performance drop by mere phase shift in prior art, and in which performance drop gets larger when especially materials of a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll are different and difference of thermal expansion coefficients is large.
Phase angle of scroll laps is shifted in a direction in which an outside of the orbiting scroll lap 2 and an inside of the fixed scroll lap 1 separate from a condition where phase of mutual scroll laps is shifted by 180, and lap thickness is made thicker by off-setting a lap outside at a winding start section of the orbiting scroll lap 2 during assembly. Consequently, a gap at a contact point of the outside of the orbiting scroll lap and the inside of the fixed scroll lap near a center part can be made small during hot operation.
