Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll-type fluid machine capable of securing reliability of an oil seal and a bearing even in high rotation and high load operation of a compressor.SOLUTION: A scroll type fluid machine includes a fixed scroll, a revolving scroll disposed in opposition to the fixed scroll, and having a boss portion on a face at an opposite side of a face opposed to the fixed scroll, a drive shaft mounted on the boss portion at its tip side, a revolving bearing supporting the drive shaft to the revolving scroll, and a seal member disposed between the boss portion and the drive shaft for sealing a lubricant supplied to the revolving bearing. The seal member has an oil lip portion generating action for moving the lubricant toward the revolving bearing by rotation of the drive shaft, and a communication passage for communicating a space formed between the revolving bearing and the seal member with a space formed at the external of the boss portion is formed on the oil lip portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
